How to access attributes from template?

hi guys,

 

here's n00b question figured out how create drop-down product attributes, i.e., {tag_attributes}

 

however, i'd attributes themselves, without html creates drop-down. reason being, i'd write values js variables can render cooler-looking menu them. (specifically, attributes hex codes, , want dynamically create color swatches using js)

 

so, there way actual values attributes? or have rendered drop-down or radio list?

 

alternatively, suppose grab values drop-down using js, , hide drop-down using js, , render own menu. may end doing that... let me know if think there better solution.

i having trouble maybe understand trying do? trying display different color options etc?

 

your js method work display visiual perhaps of different colors, in order use attributes in product must rendered dropdown or radio buttons. user still have select color list use js method display colors. suppose display color swatch beside each radio button instead of text value then.
