How to creat high print quality book

i converting book created framemaker pdf file  before sending the  printers. however, pictures converted , text not as  the  original.the same document in word gives better  printing quality.

 

how high quality pdf file from  framemaker purpose of  printing?

firstly, looking at?

are looking @ generated pdf?

if looking @ images in frame, image types awful, because fm showing preview or thumbnail embedded in file, , not full image res.

 

with respect images, mean this?

too coarse, light, dark?

and format of imported images?

that's unusual. font (name , file format)?

you set pdf options required. chances you're subsampling images , making them coarse. or originated indexed color , getting wrecked resampling.

 

200 dpi or higher adequate contone, , 600 dpi bitmap. if indexed color images (and b&w can indexed color), i'd go originals , re-render continuous tone eps, tiff (or in fm8 or later, pdf).

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
