Preset Issues with 'Edit in Photoshop' image

hi guys, i'm running lr3 , cs5 on mbp lion, , i'm working directly raw files. have adjusted images in lr , used 'edit in photoshop' correct blemishes on photos. want apply presets @ end render couple of different looks (b/w , vintage) final edited image. however, find after file comes ps, looks good, photo gets 'normalized' , develop module tools reset zero. hence presets totally blow 'edited in photoshop' image while works fine on original raw.

 

i have tried work on original image prior lr adjustments. same thing, after coming ps, both stacked files similar, @ time of running preset, 'edited in photoshop' file gets blown out.

 

i not have auto adjust settings turned on. no presets running on import/export. doing wrong?

 

i appreciate help!

liz, preset no doubt raw files rather "non-raw" files psd,tiff , jpeg. see can expected, need set sliders on 1 of photoshopped images after have applied preset give want , save settings new preset use on processed files rather raw files.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
