Severely distorted mic sound in video chat


hello,

 

i running video chat (http://chatroulette.com/). users complaining other users hear them in distorted way.

 

in particular, mentioning voice sounds lower should , unrecognisable.

 

here examples of feedback receive users:

 

1.

i used have no problems talking other people on chatroulette, people sound "darth vader" , sound severely distorted. using macbook proosx version 10.6.8 , have tried updating flash player, playing around sounds on preferences, along other things , nothing works. there should doing fix problem?

2.

i've been using guys fun on year. have windows 7 64 bit machine , microsoft . lately people connect complain have bad sound. have heard on occasion , sound halved in frequency , sounds darth vader. think chatroulette/flash sound codec issue, don't have these issues skype or anywhere else. hope it, not good. can email me more information. oh yes, not use manycam.

please help.

i have problem when use website. check mic , sounds fine, check again, , sounds i'm 2 octaves lower , doing darth vader voice. people can't understand me. can me out?

the sound on computer randomly started screwing up. people voice sounds darth vader. it's deep. randomly happened 1 day. happening on mac , roommates pc. how fix it. we've tried messing settings nothing works. why doing that? thanks!

 

many users have started complain problem since beginning of 2012, , didn't before.

 

please fix issue.
