Thread: Hyperstransport Sync Flood Error

hi everyone,

first of all, have tell i'm new linux-ubuntu.

weak ago, build small computer rig have gpus calculations. worked fine until 3 days ago.

started having problem wireless pci card. seemed there sweet spots work (it moving bit lose internet connection).

then, yesterday, started having bigger problem. not able boot @ all. sometime in front of blank screen , other times receive message : hyper-transport sync flood error occurred @ last boot.

i'm writing here last problem, since don't understand if occurs because of mobo or cpu (i googled that, seems people talking two).

people seem have find solutions calling commands in terminal, can't access login screen.

tried fresh installation of ubuntu 11.04, every time i'm lauching dvd-writer, bring me ubuntu loading screen (with 5 little dots) , freeze there.

so, have ever had problem before , found solution?

-edit : know problem not in relation ubuntu, i'm still asking in case here know solution

note : i'm using exact same setup on rig , working no.1

i'm thinking ; if there said "sweet spots" wireless pci card work, think may problem? when i'll home i'll try remove , see if differences meanwhile think problem (since i'm reading error occurs because of voltage)
