Using Joomla through a proxy - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,

i have joomla! 2.5.7 site i'm helping build uses joomdle plugin create learning environment.
the problem having way server hosted. think site hosted within kind of intranet , there's proxy site need use able connect out internet things updating , installing plugins urls.
joomla! running in webmin linux appliance , have put proxy proxy settings allow software package updates. have configured moodle run through proxy specifying proxy in http settings.

i've been searching everywhere joomla! doesn't seem have options entering http proxy. i've tried put in proxying settings in apache virtual servers in webmin no luck. i've tried solution outlined on page http://the.mnbvcx.net/use-joomla-with-proxy/ hasn't helped either.

the reason need able connect out internet firstly, allow updates easily, , secondly because needs connect out ldap server handle login accounts.

does know how add simple http proxy in joomla! can connect out through it?

i don't know answer idea combined simple proxy interesting too, want solve problem?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
