Audio stops after several seconds of playing in CS6 on PC (R3D files)

hi,

 

i have come across significant problem while editing r3d files in premiere pro cs6. when play sequence video play fine audio play couple of seconds before cutting out. audio meters continue show audio coming through though no sound can heard @ all. when stop , start sequence again audio begins play again couple of seconds before cutting out. there no problem video whatsoever.

 

- has else experienced similar problems or have suggestions might going on , possible fix?

 

my system specs below. system speed should not issue @ sequence plays fine on slower , older imac (albeit @ reduced resolution).

 

on intel 3rd generation i7 pc (quad core) running windows 7 home premium (64bit)

8gb of ram

2gb nvidia 650m graphics card

256gb ssd drive startup , applications.

 

any appreciated, unfortunately until problem solved editing on system wont possible.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
