[Closed] Success migrating Joomla to different host - almost - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have migrated joomla 1.5 installation old host (50webs.net) new host (hostgator).

i did backing entire domain tree joomla mysql database , reinstalling them on new host. after making changes configuration.php file account differences in server/database/user names on new host, site came alive immediately.

however, there 1 strange side effect can't explain...

all articles have been marked either expired or unpublished still show on front page if "front page" flag set. "display logic" worked on old host. expired or unpublished articles not show - period. now, way can make expired/unpublished articles disappear front page remove front page flag articles.

is can explained differences in mysql/php versions between hosts? i'm @ loss explain.

oh yes, using ancient version of joomla (1.5.9). aside security risks, can't figure out how changes made affect display logic.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
