Customize placeholder background

i'm looking visual resource me change color of background of ipad layout topic contents placeholder.

instead of brown, want background white compatible layout of existing webhelp project.

adobe documentation says,

change background color of topic page. click document in tag list, right-click , select topic borders , shading. select color , click ok.

it appears cannot change placeholder color fill white.

any ideas?

aw shucks. clicked , clicked , found selection in text box (div) tab @ top of screen. not instructions stated above. way same thing?
