Max graphics card (PC) performance for PS-CS6?
photoshop cs6 makes extensive use of graphic card features such opengl , opencl. prices of graphic cards have features range under $100 on $4000 top of line pro cards.
if system used ps there's no need invest in features don't need, such needed video gamers. want best graphics card performance ps can make use of.
has seen test of various graphics cards determine @ point additional graphics performance no longer improves ps performance? example, card's clock speed effect ps performance? 2g of graphics card ram offer improvement on 1g (or 512mb)?
thanks

no, haven't seen kind of hard information on that.
and saying "graphics card performance ps can make use of" isn't enough. different cards might rate differently if lot of painting, or lot of 3d, or lot of liquify , lighting effects operations, etc.
and not least of driver quality! 2 different gpu driver releases same card can yield radically different performance. might be, example, photoshop can't make use of opencl facilities @ on 1 release while can on (i've seen happen).
it seems me it's time modern photoshop benchmark suite created. brush strokes can recorded in actions, matter of recording sequences people can run on systems, , maybe can kind of objective information on system components better doing photoshop operations others. i've been considering doing such benchmark.
