Merging 2 Catalogs from 2 computers

i have been struggling alot.  simple question.  have master desktop catalog , temporay laptop catalog, both osx computers lightroom 4.  trying copy catalog , photos laptop desktop little success. on desktop when try "import catalog" , choose laptop catalog different errors make cannot import.  one, drop down box "copy new photos new location , import" not show up! can "add new photos catalog without moving."

 

so thinking permissions and.or ownership issues. have tried login different user,change ownership of catalog , preview files , photos , gave r/w previlegious , login in administrator also, nothing working. did have success keeping stream simple:  created new account me on laptop, creating new catalog while loged in me , did import of catalog me on desktop.  well, ok work, user, me, on laptop simple test account.  laptop belong person.  can not import else's catalog?  missing?  thanks?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
