Merging pictures

i use pe9.

 

i sell stamps , post photographs of front , of stamps side-by-side, in 1 picture.

how can merge 2 pictures together, making sure scale same on both?

1. open blank, new file file menu, enter width & height of paper stock, resolution 240-300 px/in range

1. drag each stamp picture project bin background. each stamp on own layer
2. working on 1 of stamp layers, press ctrl+t access transform tool. on tool's option bar @ top, right, there "scale" icon. can type in dimensions suit. tick constrain proportions.
3. scale other stamp layer conform
4. if open info. palette (window>tick info.), can readout here well.
