Restoring an Autosave Version PP5

my pc crashed morning, , had premier pro 5 running open project couple days ago. after rebooting, opened original project , noticed of new sequences missing. closed , opened 1 (actually 5) of backups. noticed these backups had new sequences, did not have of original sequences.

 

so assume backup files saving sequences changed since last manual save. correct? if so, how merge original project autosaved project restore project , of sequences , edits?

 

there 1 sequence in manual saved version not present in autosaved version, autosaved version has 2 new sequences not present in manual saved version. also, both versions have 2 sequences present in both versions, pretty sure these modified after manual save.

 

i don't remember edited between manual save , pc crash, trying careful not losing new edits.

autosave save project when saves, in full , intact.  if autosave didn't have sequences, it's 1 of 3 possible reasons, in descending order of likelihood.

 

1. sequences there, need open them

2. sequences deleted prior auto save.

3. crash corrupted autosave files.  (this very, very small possibility, though, seeing appears have happened 5 autosaves, not 1 of 'open' @ time of crash.)

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
