Thread: How to prevent zip file corruption?
i trying encrypt folder using 7-zip (windows version) , password protect files aes 256 algorithm . can people break code, or secure (i'm kinda worried)?
add second layer of security files, changing extension of encrypted zipped folder (such as: .mp3) , add fake .mp3 zipped encrypted folder. corrupt folders or content?
edit: exact reverse when want open files.
so long stick aes, should safe provided use long enough password, 12+
can increase security little reducing compression (make file bigger).
don't see point in renaming stuff, 7z has option of encrypting file names.
, password should unique of course.
prevent corruption can use external redundancy tools such par2.
