Thread: Installation help, ubuntu will not load

my specs machine are,
evga classified 4 motherboard
7x 8400gs video cards
2x 500gig wd blue
12gigs corsair ddr3 1333
i7 960 intel

im trying ubuntu install. have burnt disk off couple times thinking maybe disc on first 1 second same thing. knows cd there, purple screen little man on bottom , looks keyboard? hit space bar , brings me screen select language. tell install ubuntu , blank screen cursor blinking , thats it. cd rom spools , down , shuts off. sit there time doing nothing.

have incompatible hardware or not sure else deal be. maybe should disbale video cards @ first except one?

can run ubuntu live disc first see if
a: works specs.

can install live cd,
find have sometimes.
burn @ slower speed make massive difference.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
