Thread: Overriding XP with ubuntu?
hi all
have dual boot xp pc ubuntu 10.04 installed.
don't use windows xp anymore , ubuntu has things need.. , wondering how can override xp ubuntu, have plenty of diskspace on ubuntu..
assist?
*guess* can mount windows xp partition ubuntu, can delete every possible file have space.... do?

yes, delete xp files , left empty, ntfs partition can acces ubuntu.
might prefer delete xp partition , expand ubuntu partition fill gap. way have bigger ubuntu partition.
can using tool called gparted. cannot expand ubuntu partition while using it, need while booted in live cd (or install of linux).
in summary,
critical data - in case.
boot off live cd
run gparted in /system/administration
select , delete xp partition
select , resize ubuntu partition fill gap
