Thread: Recovering MySQL db from failed RAID array

i recognize isn't typical question, have problem linux webserver, , thought prevail on community guidance.

have linux webserver important mysql server on it. raid array seems have died while moving. (did drop it? dunno) can't find boot device.

has 4 old scsi drives.

so, know how mount ide or sata drive slave, in linux environment read data off of (to copy mysql files off of it.)

but, how do scsi drive?

also, have additional (identical) server crippled one. happen if slide 1 of scsi drives operating server? second identical server going me @ all? don't know on it. can reconfigure raid, it's not using drive, , slide in disk crippled server, , copy data off of it?

how shall configure server? pretty important recover files.

in advance.
