Thread: Unable to access Ubuntu after install

my prior experience has been nextstep/openstep , osx.

installed 10.04 via usb flash drive onto asus eee pc 701 (4gb)
bottoms of windows cut off due screen size.
downloaded 10.10 netbooks , saved iso usb flash drive
read how upgrade 10.04 10.10 within ubuntu , thought try first.
had running out of space warning, supposedly updated , presented reboot.

upon reboot appears black screen grey bar @ bottom correct time on right , @ extreme right icon of page(?) x on it; in center of screen frozen cursor on grey rectangle computer’s name , above name same icon of page(?) x on it. http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/...nome_issue.jpg

when first happens there temporary message in upper right, fades after few seconds. message is:
"install problem!
configuration defaults gnome power manager have not been installed correctly. please contact computer administrator."

have read threads message, have found them in situations person use terminal window try various solutions.

in case, cannot beyond screen. have tried rebooting original usb flash drive had installed apparently functional ubuntu 10.04 , result same. used friend’s windows vista load freebsd on usb flash drive – in hopes if 10.04 install looking for, or finding, gnome power manager on eee 701 wouldn’t consider installed (albeit damaged) , skip installing 1 on flash drive, freebsd instead install own power manager… same screen got.

have not found in bios helps.

cannot original asus support dvd appear on friend’s vista (insert/request admin password/but no sign of app) , have therefore not been able reinstall 701’s install.

consider zeroing 4gb, not know how or make seen vista it. need no data on machine.

have pushed recessed reset button, removed battery overnight, removed 512mb ram few minutes – none of these things made difference.

no keyboard shortcuts work. power button way start or quit it.

i use unetbootin vista , put make flash drive bootable , make ubuntu os. install flash drive.

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working error when opening projects in Adobe Media Encoder CS6

hi, upgraded adobe cloud cs6 , having problems adobe media encoder cs 6 (version 6.0.1.31 64-bit).   when try add adobe premiere projects in ame, gives me following error:   pproheadless.exe has stopped working   i tried rebooting, , still gives me same error.  project load, won't.   the premiere projects contain h.264 .mov file coming canon t2i.  added overlay logo bottom right of video created in adobe after effects, contains text, no effects, no motion, etc.  have .wav file recorded zoom h4n, not always.  edit in adobe audition remove noise feature.   i running on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.  i'm using i7 16gb ram , ati 6870 video card.   i have lut buddy plugin installed.   it give me error first time try load project, , connection dynamic link server fail.  afterwards, if try load project again, if restart ame, stays stuck in connecting dynamic link server...   any provide appreciated. what happens when drag , a...
