Thread: X session of 16 bit color depth in Ubuntu 10.10

to play old win95 game had run through sub-session of xserver, using xephyr provide 16 bit color depth needed show of graphics in game.

worked then, when try old script launching game not working. must since 10.10 upgrade, , can't think of other major changes.

troubleshooting made me realize game start in 24 bit, through wine directly or running through x session created xephyr - not in 16 bit earlier.
