3D Draggable Shadows in PS CS6 Extended Not Working

i have ps cs6 extended creative cloud , works great.

 

however draggable shadows in 3d not show @ all.

 

if render image shadows appear.  not show in what's new section of photoshop page in adobe.com

 

if turn on reflections, show fine, shadows still not there.

 

there wrong installation, or settings?

 

my computer hp with:

  • windows 7 home premium 64 bit
  • intel i7 2.8 ghz processor
  • 8 gb ram
  • amd radeon hd 6570 graphics card 1gb ddr3 dedicated memory

 

please let me know if ther can these draggable shadows working

you may need display driver update.  bear in mind shadows going bit choppy in draft mode before rendering, should able see them.  here's example:

i've found amd's catalyst 12.6 work best far photoshop cs6 extended's 3d rendering.  can previous versions of drivers here:

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
