Auto-Update While Flash Being Used

i'm not sure understand auto-update process in terms of when adobe flash in use. ask because when computer on flash being used, streaming or videos.

 

i've not yet been updated version 11.4.

in 1 of last major versions (i think 11.2) changed way named our plugin update new version, regardless if current 1 in use.  however, after updating, mean need either open new browser tab, restart browser, or in case of current version of firefox (which has bug mozilla addressing) possibly restart system.
