BC E-commerce integrated with Subscription Based Web Application

i considering using bc company's corporate website online store.  sell subscription based web application have 3 or more flavors (products) , need bill customers on recurring monthly or annual basis.

 

for monthly subscriptions, want bill customer based on "highwater" mark regards user quantity given month.  gives users flexibility add/remove users freely without fuss of having contact sales representative adjust account/recurring order. 

 

i imagine happen 1 of 2 ways:

1. the user signs creating account both in our web application , ecommerce site , billed first time.  in ensuing months, either: e-commerce site communicates our web application high water mark quantity billing cycle or
2. our web application sends new order each month e-commerce site, including highwater mark quantity, giving illusion user indeed recurring order behind scenes individual orders.

 

annual subscription customers bit more challenging.  still want users have flexibility add/remove users minimal effort. however, since being billed on annual basis, prorating additional users necessary.  if customer purchased 5 licenses, adds 5 more licenses during month 6 of annual subscription term, need e-commerce solution bill them once 50% prorated 5 licenses, bill them 6 month's later total 10 license subscription renewal.

 

at bit of higher level, prefer customer manage billing/account info within our web application rather going external store so.

 

one other caveat, prefer not store credit card info on our site.  preferably stored in our payment gateway (auth.net).  may or may not affect workflows described above.

 

my questions:

1. can bc e-commerce solution support workflows above?
   1. if so, there documentation/resources available research further?
2. are there bc customers similar?  if so, , how similar?

from have described seems me need complex server side logic bc doesn't allow. in case you'd have develop app communicates between bc , other application through our api, control orders per requirement. in particular, there's no easy way end user control recurring monthly or annual subscription, there's no way apply immediate discounts according earlier purchases satisfy requirement "if customer purchased 5 licenses, adds 5 more licenses during month 6 of annual subscription term, need e-commerce solution bill them once 50% prorated 5 licenses, bill them 6 month's later total 10 license subscription renewal", can't build in functionality bc " e-commerce site communicates our web application high water mark quantity billing cycle" , there few more things there suggest me need custom.
