Help!! Major Issue!! Cannot Turn on URL Rewriting!! Errors! - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello

i have migrated joomla 1.5.26 version 2.5 using jupgrade. of articles, modules , media moved on fine. i've been having updated components replace ones i've had.

i had convert template file works in joomla 2.5, , works fine.

the major issue that, i'm not able turn on use url rewriting. if do, consistently error:

not found
the requested url /path_to_webserver_url/web/content/jupgrade/index.php not found on server.

as turn off use url rewriting, i'm able navigate throughout site, http://www.mysite.com/index.php/pagename instead of http://www.mysite.com/pagename. have seo friendly urls turned on, regardless if it's on or off, turn on url rewriting, above mentioned error.

i've tested url rewriting using script here:
http://docs.joomla.org/how_to_check_if_ ... our_server

it seems work fine.

also, .htaccess file being read fine i've renamed htaccess.txt .htaccess. i've added parameters following values:

php_value upload_max_filesize 60m
php_value post_max_size 60m
php_value max_execution_time 200
php_value max_input_time 200

when uploaded php system file, see values updated in core values section.

what possibly wrong?

please please help!! don't know else do. i've searched on internet, , tried different things, nothing seems work.

may know hosting provider? did hosting provider give cpanel access?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
