Managing and Accessing Years of Flash Artwork Assets?

after working flash long time i've created lot of artwork in many *.fla files. artwork in these files accessible both myself , colleagues future use not sure how this. manager making presentation , need computer icon, (should) able pull "computer icons" our company has made on past [x] years , pick 1 of those.

 

in past i've tried creating folder file names like:

 

  • 01_icons.fla
  • 02_officefurniture.fla
  • 03_animals.fla
  • (etc...)

 

but fla files pretty big pretty fast *plus* searching through these files slower , less efficient on time - , keeping these files updated time gets time consuming.

 

in opinion ideal workflow here be:

  1. a user (myself or 1 of colleagues) type keyword kind of search engine (google-esque) "computer"
  2. the corresponding library symbols (maybe via "tags") come preview
  3. the user download file png (with specified dpi/resolution) and/or fla/swf.
  4. a comments system (per library asset) great

 

is there product exists doesn't involve mountain of cash, time investment or complexity?  also, please chime in how of doing sort of thing @ workplace - either 3rd party product or manual/homemade method.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
