Selecting particular range of style using script

hi all,

can suggest me how can select range of text using script.

i having different para styles eg., ps1, ps2, ps3, ps4...........

i may applyed these styles in jumping order except ps1, want select paragraphs applied style ps1 stop before next appearence of ps1 style.

like: in document para 1, 10, 14, 25 applied ps1, selection should go in way 1-9, 10-13, 14-24 , on
