[SOLVED]Content doesn't update - caching problem - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i disabled every single cache plugin had installed , removed them (except system one) , ever change article don't see change after closing browser - same on other browser.

let's unpublished article - when click link article (not refresh) still can see link i'm getting error (as expected - unpublished) - after refreshing - link disappears.

it's browser (or other browser) forced cache page ( not server side cache - browser) , don't know how fix or disable

that means users ready visited site not seeing changes till hit f5 or refresh

any help?


solved:

.htaccess set cache files 7 days - it's highest rule witch mean nothing can disable inside joomla - have needed delete cache command lines .htaccess , got normal

interesting, had same problem joomla 2.5.7, exact same problem. turned off every caching option , went easyapache rebuild php no caching modules (like xcache) , still joomla not update browser cache. i'd have reload page or delete browser cache updated version.

it annoying because programs uddeim (did spell right) wouldn't update inbox. you'd notification saying had new message when clicked on inbox "no messages" until hit reload on browser.

i tried 3 days fix this, couldn't figure out, deleted entire site , started on again.

i don't post here when these complex problems seldom answered.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
