Thread: After UBUNTU stoped booting

hi all. ok, after tip given change sudo
sudo su chmod 0440 /etc/sudoers
exit
my system said enough enough , stopped booting, not come up. black screen.
followed recovery process, still no go. think system unstable before above code.
so, decided upgrade 11.04. did not work either. somethings not working. i.e. ubuntu software center. star keeps spinning, around , around. left time, went , had dinner. 30 minutes, got back, , still turning.
looked here , found this.

sudo apt-get update
after does, lots of lines know what. ends with


reading package lists... error!
e: encountered section no package: header
e: problem mergelist /var/lib/apt/lists/extras.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_natty_main_binary-amd64_packages
e: package lists or status file not parsed or opened.
so, first problem needs solved before go next one.

needed guys, please.

please post in existing threads rather opening new one. makes lot easier people you, if can see previous advice.

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working error when opening projects in Adobe Media Encoder CS6

hi, upgraded adobe cloud cs6 , having problems adobe media encoder cs 6 (version 6.0.1.31 64-bit).   when try add adobe premiere projects in ame, gives me following error:   pproheadless.exe has stopped working   i tried rebooting, , still gives me same error.  project load, won't.   the premiere projects contain h.264 .mov file coming canon t2i.  added overlay logo bottom right of video created in adobe after effects, contains text, no effects, no motion, etc.  have .wav file recorded zoom h4n, not always.  edit in adobe audition remove noise feature.   i running on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.  i'm using i7 16gb ram , ati 6870 video card.   i have lut buddy plugin installed.   it give me error first time try load project, , connection dynamic link server fail.  afterwards, if try load project again, if restart ame, stays stuck in connecting dynamic link server...   any provide appreciated. what happens when drag , a...
