Thread: Start Pidgin and quodlibet minimized

this has been asked on , over, solution i'm seeing everywhere these programs remember start minimized if they're exited (as in not shutting down computer) minimized. well, on computer (running 11.04), isn't true.

2 other suggestions i've seen pidgin's extprefs , buddy list preferences, neither of work me or else i've seen ask this. i've learned kdocker in search, isn't wanted either, because programs still go tray when that.

1 suggestion thought of myself quodlibet having startup application "sleep 5 && quodlibet --hide-window", doesn't work because putting sleep in of startup applications makes ubuntu take longer login , doesn't affect startup programs.

so, how can quodlibet , pidgin autostart @ login without showing windows? or, alternatively, kdocker work fine if there's way can complete list of tray icons rather having unity's tray set "all", can set except kdocker.
