Thread: two swap spaces


hey, have partitioned new 250 gb hard disk n planned install 2 distros. created 2 swap spaces of 3 -3 gb (as ram 3 gb)and other ext4 partitions using gparted. when installed ubuntu 11.04 32 bit in 1 primary partition of 30 gb , didn't ask me choose swap area ....i haven't installed other distro yet...so i'm not sure partition did use(or may haven't selected of one) checked hibernate system , worked properly....so in little problem thinking assigning swap space second distro ( slackware ) installation(i'll install after few days)....plz help....
n need 1 little help....
battery dead , doesn't have power backup want set system go hibernate when power gets off......tia

you need 1 swap space. afaik linux uses whatever finds, don't need allocate
