Thread: waking up from suspended state

i wondering if there here kind enough me. dual boot both windows , linux , put computer "sleep" @ night it's easy wake next morning. in windows need press few keys , computer comes life, in linux doesn't happen , have go power button. (this wouldn't bad if computer wasn't in hard reach place in cupboard)

@ moment have usb hub keyboard , mouse plug into, sake of testing plugged second usb keyboard directly machine itself, again neither wake it. doing bit of research have discovered wakeup devices stored in /proc/acpi/wakeup

at point have reached dead end, how tell acpi wakeup accept input usb keyboard kickstart?

i not have issue sleep works fine
although bios has option boot on key press set space (take it)
wireless keyboard?
computers hate sleep/hibernate sisters not power down locks
