Trouble Installing Software Bundle on my new Mac

hi, i've had tablet , software bundle couple years now. i've installed software bundle , wacom tablet on pcs in past no trouble. tried install photoshop elements 8 on new mac, in instruction manual says compatible with. every time click on installation, pse icon pops in menu bar, bouncing , down, , asks permission(i have enter password, understand how part works, , it's , good). trouble starts after enter password allow process continue. second pse icon pops in menu bar along bottom of screen, , installation process starts, first remains , keeps jumping , down. i've clicked on again , again, , nothing shows up, , won't go away. meanwhile, intallation progress stuck on main_pagesubtitle, progresses along until end, stops, , won't go further. however, if right click on either icon , click either quit or force quit, process stops , closes altogether.

i've tried number of things , nothing works. i've opened software bundle folder , gone directly photoshop element 8 folder , clicked on install icon there. i've clicked on install adobe photoshop elements 8 in window program opens automatically. installed nik colour efex pro, says won't work without photoshop elements 8 installed. installation went off without hitch. i've tried restarting computer , doing on again.

i'm running out of options , getting frustrated. if has suggestions please me out.

have been manually removing bits of failed installs did installed between attempts? need that. run this, search in applications, hard drive>library>appllcation support>adobe , username>library that's there , remove it. running lion or mountain lion?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
