Color correction and cinematic film look
hi everyone,
rookie question guess coloring. since started editing area of production caught interest. first movies started adding cinematic film showed on many youtube tutorials tweaking 3 way color corrector , procamp. while thinking "color correction". found tutorials jeff sengstack on color correction seemed quite bit more professional, using scopes , wave forms etc. real pleased myself , rendered whole video way find out thought looked less "professional" ones simple filmlook tutorials. so......here's question:
should cinematic film (if wanted) after overall color correction or color correction not needed when want apply cinematic film look?
second question: recommend use of magic bullet software vs using coloring tools in premiere pro?
thanks or advice.

color correction not same coloring. former making data accurate , legal (setting white balance match reality, black points rec709, etc.) , latter creating artistic 'look'. if you're broadcasting or burning mass-market dvds legal stuff important or client won't take footage, quite frankly if it's video online use there's no 'wrong'. youtube pixels can pure white, pure black, or in between, , if decide sky green it's green.
