Contribute CS4 hates Mountain Lion, or vice versa

after upgrading mountain lion, found contribute cs4 did not open.  in searching answer found following on adobe forum:

"earlier versions of adobe photoshop (cs3 , cs4) software tested mountain lion , there no known issues."

 

so continuing search, 2 days of frustration ensued "chatted" 2 unhelpful adobe customer support reps, searched unhelpful apple , adobe websites , posted question in various places.  found above statement wrong when received following adobe staffer:

 

mountain lion not supported platform adobe contribute cs4. supported versions latest adobe contribute 6.5 , adobe contribute cs5.x.

 

and have spend hundreds in order maintain website after upgrading mountain lion.  don't know whom should take complaint, apple or adobe.  mean have research every piece of software use before upgrading mac?  @ least, mac owners should forwarned of platform support failures major 3rd party producers. i'm doing bit here.   how taking responsibility?

do not mean same thing.

 

adobe did test , found no problems machines using configurations can't cover every possible configuration out there there's bound instances (or many instances) won't work.

 

hence second quote saying not supported...

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
