Fatal error: Call to undefined method JControllerLegacy::get - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

problem. twice now, after upgrading site, few days after successful upgrade, error occurs: fatal error: call undefined method jcontrollerlegacy::getinstance() in /home/content/s/m/g/smgallant/html/components/com_content/content.php on line 15

i believe client made no changes , i'm sure have not. fix last time, had re-build entire site.

please, help.

not have explanation caused jcontrollerlegacy problem, found few posts others had same issue. fix it:

1. download latest joomla files , unpack
2. using ftp or host file manager overwrite folders , files except for:
- configuration.php
- templates
- .htaccess
these file hold stylings , settings , don't want have again!
note! if ftp client stops transfer because of permissions issue, works delete file won't allow overwrite , upload it. works me on fetch
3. in case, resolved jcontrollerlegacy issue reset admin password - locking me out. resolved re-setting admin password "secret" through php admin using instructions found here:

4. sure change password secure once have access editor.
5. sure empty system cache , purge.

this worked me - use @ own risk.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
