Opening downloaded files locally

i'm developing flex-based air application ipad. i'm trying make open downloaded application storage video, mp3 or pdf files.

 

code works on desktop, doesn't work ipad - finds target files in storage, doesn't play them, though same files can played directly server.

 

suppose there security issue...

is possible register supported formats flex-based mobile applications?

will playing locally downloaded files? there way make application play locally downloaded files?
