SERIOUS MUSE ISSUES

i love adobe.  every program i've used far has been working flawlessly, exception of adobe muse.

 

here little collection of bugs i've found:

 

1) wrap text function not functioning properly.  in fact it's working bad had make multiple text boxes in order circumvent this. brings me next issue.

 

2) when placing multiple text boxes in 1 page, run issue of text box can't type in.  maddening!

 

3) buttons came widgets (particularly "featured news widget") can't resize uniformly. though in properties panel see same size, in design , preview modes can see it's not same size. 

 

and no matter do, up, over, , down states of buttons don't match. there no way can fix because method of changing states doesn't function in muse.

 

4)  there general lack of control when comes colors. instance when using "featured news widget".  it's default background gradient, , can change top color.  there seems no options on changing bottom color.   , if want no fill might forget it.  because selecting no fill default color in preview.  , when if want , image background?  forget it!

i'm sorry feel dreamweaver still best (and easiest) way make website.  spent on ten hours trying muse work me.  i'm giving trying!  please inform when update available make program more reliable.

 

i must love idea, , open trying again!  again opinion of adobe unaffected because of fact else works flawlessly!

sounds you're having rough time; not happening you, have used of these features in both beta last year , 1.0 build versions, without issue. on problems 1-3, screem captures show what's going wrong , you're trying achieve huge help. saying doesn't work start, showing how isn't working lot more helpful.

 

for instance, on 3) buttons on widgets various states best edited "edit together" ( right click widget, blue arrow shows give preferences area choose how widget behaves. if this, every edit make 1 button in widget same others. otherwise, can end gettin varying states throughout widget. annoyingly, when clicking on different states button, there bit of lag time before pallate switches over. need make sure has switched states before applying change. otherwise, end changing same state few times without realizing. have done on nuber of ocassions.

 

 

in regards 4) can absolutely change both top , bottom colours of gradient. choose button or element want fill. instance, grey white gradient featured news widget comes with. first of all, sure you're clicking , 'drilling down' though widget past container element. then, click "fill" "fill type" ( solid or gradient ) , have choices of 2 colours drop down palletes la illustrator , choices opacity, focal point , horizontal v vertical. gradients extremely customiseable.

does illustrate bit better?  here, change green more contrast , show indeed can altered , customised.

 

to add background fill super-easy ( maybe being dreamweaver user throwing off? ) click element want add background image to....go top tool bar, click "fill"  ( little arrow right, not colour pallate ) , go file , click want background image. here have gone basic white white leather fill.

 

 

i have @ muse if indeed serious wanting use it. mentioned, of features mentioned not working, have used without issue, unless can further describe , illustrate problem? muse, features have, works , reliable.

 

thus, wouldn't "serious muse issues" teething problem users.
