Thread: Can't login with password

i can't login password more, here's did mess up:

!!!warning not run command!!!

i ran command, rid of user list on login:

code:

sudo gconftool-2 --direct --config-source xml:readwrite:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults --type bool --set /apps/gdm/simple-greeter/disable_user_list true

when logout see password box asking me password, enter it, not validate. restart pc , i'm presented same login, luckily had auto-login enabled, if wasn't not able login.

i'm trying undo above command now, run:

when logout i'll see normal ubuntu 10.04 login screen , works fine, when restart pc reverts again!
