hi,

using ubuntu 10.04 lts.

have intranet server behind nat router. standard linksys router home setup. server has static ip. used port forwarding in router use ssh , log server remotely - works ok.

want no 1 outside home network access webpages on server unless they're authenticated.. know port forward ssh http port 80 , see webpages , again open cable modem's ip - wouldn't it?

need secure way ssh requires password before access port 80 , http server remote network.

how do this? , on local network people can served pages usual. remote need authentication. must commonly done(?)

thanks,

lee g.
