heres deal. hava compaq 5320 (http://pcworld.about.net/news/aug212001id57667.htm)
running slitaz. works!
expect....

problem #1
no chrome. (google chrome)

see apt-get google chrome in package mananger. installing (clicking , selcting install) after xterm shows codes, not show in internet.

problem #2
flash works fine.. on midori. (will work on chrome?)
java on other hand? help!!
installed opera (want chrome btw)

now add path “/usr/lib/java/jre1.6.0_10/lib/i386″ (the version no may differ) plugin-path in opera: (tools->preference->advanced->content->java options). make sure enable java.

problem #3
no printer.
have hp officejet 6210 all-in 1 printer/scanner/fax (don't care fax)
soo.. how set up?

answer questions, , spits out cups thing.. in admin asks user , password.
fine, user coffee. password (*****)
error.

see, have serios bugs. please me iron them out, , make perfect computer!

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
