Thread: Toshiba Satellite U505 Laptop


i bought toshiba satellite u505 laptop last year , installed ubuntu 10.04 wubi.exe method. faced 2 major problems:

1. whenever used touch sensitive keys of laptop i.e. volume buttons, media buttons, etc, keyboard freeze , mouse work. however, ctrl+alt+del still working allowing me shut down, restart or log off, annoying.

2. major issue faced in point when after installing updates, ubuntu not start. in case, had no other choice uninstall version logging on windows seven.

after having said that, hoping problem fixed in ubuntu 11.04, first problem still exist. don't know 2nd problem installed version yesterday.

please me out situation ubuntu lover , didn't face problem on previous laptop acer. alternatively, b great if suggest me best version of ubuntu laptop have older versions me .
