Thread: update bug!! plz help

first before problem i'm new linux , ubuntu... love ...so far
second excuse bad english cause i'm not english native speaker

ubuntu is:
11.04 (natty) i368
kernel linux 2.6.38-8-generic
gnome 2.23.1
2 days ago apple download , software , update... today got error:
not initialize package information

unresolvable problem occurred while initializing package information.

please report bug against 'update-manager' package , include following error message:

'e:encountered section no package: header, eroblem mergelist /var/lib/apt/lists/dl.google.com_linux_chrome_deb_dists_stable_main_b inary-i386_packages, e:the package lists or status file not parsed or opened

rearsh internet solution , find use in terminal:
#sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* -vf
#sudo apt-get update
understood delete list of update sources again...

did got error:

, when try update same first bug come again
tried use mirror , restart pc nothing work

did deleted 3 lists caused in terminal:
#sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/dl.google.com_linux_chrome_deb_dists_stable_main_b inary-i386_packages
#sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/dl.google.com_linux_chrome_deb_dists_stable_main_i 18n_translation-en
#sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/dl.google.com_linux_chrome_deb_dists_stable_main_i 18n_translation-en%5fus
