Thread: Wrong Screen size is detected.
hi all,
have mini itx system connected 32 inch tv via hdmi. installation of ubuntu went smoothly when log in there slight issue.
basically, system detecting monitor 48inch 1 when use both standard display drivers , nvidia ones. screen res 1920 x 1080 , seems fine can't see whole desktop. when move mouse off screen in every direction cursor vanishes out of range. if right click half menu if have 32inch screen window on overall 48inch desktop.
not ubuntu savy if need info please give me exact steps (puts on stupid hat)
think may need force system realizes 32inch? appreciated.
board using asus at510mt-i onboard nvidia next gen ion graphics 512mb dedicated video memory. (nvidia ion 2010).
in advance.
i having similar problem first-ever linux installation jumped head-first into.
actual (tv) screen size 42", being shown 52". have mentioned, not resolution issue (as far can tell)
installed updates , issue still here.
keep playing around, curious if had luck , pass along worked.
