Clipping indicator doesn't appear when I hover over boundary between layers.

this started happening couple of days ago, , happens 2 different images. haven't done system updates week or more, nor added actions or plugins. have wacom tablet runs amok* until unplug , replug usb cable. did recently, can't remember when. can clip 2 layers using opt+click on little icon loads adjustment layer. running pscs6 v 13.0 64 bit on imac osx 10.7.4, 650 gb disk storage (639 gb capacity, 134 gb available), 4 gb ram. i've done make happen, sure can't figure out what.

 

*by running amok mean randomly changes focus between have installed, including apps aren't active (i think . . .)

in order certain,do press , hold down opt key before move cursor between layers? try trackpad or mouse on system instead of wacom

 

if problem still there, reset workspace going far upper right corner of ps , in dropdown menu under workspace name,"essentials" example,chose "reset workspace."

 

last thought reset photoshop preferences if of above not work.

 

macintosh - cmd-shift-option after double-click ps icon.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
