CS4 Indesign Font/Document Help??

with indesign cs4, how 1 change font & size of same whole document @ 1 time??

i'm working on stamp catalogue & i've realized font used in all  documents not uniform way thru.  how change font style & size (picas) on these seperate documents same start finish??

there has simpler way without having on each page & each document, way thru...???

it's called styles. define paragraph style each type of text need in document, , apply it.

 

lots of new users (and suspect may 1 of them) never use default [basic paragraph] style, select text , reformat. called local override. overrides can cleared, if you've added things bold or italic, lost simple override clearing, want set character styles sorts of things , apply them before removing overrides.

 

since kind of problem common when working authors, number of people have written scripts clean text. 1 of best jongware's preptext script (see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/429756). try on copy of 1 of files.

 

once you've got styles set in files, can synchronize them single defintion of each style name adding of files book (.indb) , using synchronize function (unless belong book, though, don't synch numbering, swatches or master pages).
