Duplicate file names and the back up process.

i have used first time whislt replacing computer , moving windows 7.  have different pictures same file name on drive (f:) , computer hardrive (c:).  when click on picture picture inorgnaiser appears , qickly disappers , second picture same file nane appears.  first appear on c drive second on f drive, drive.  help.

did start xp , pse10 on old computer ?

from post, suppose did use 'backup , restore' function of elements transfer.

if so, did state new 'custom' folder restore,

and did check checkbox keep same folder structure ?

 

the problem when moving xp vista or windows7 default folder structure of 'my pictures' folder different, so, choosing restore same destination won't work. that's reason why advised restore in new custom folder while keeping same folder structure. old folder structure restored under new 'custom' master folder.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
