Footage WILL NOT play in Premiere CS5.5

cs5.5

footage .mts

2 tb harddrive

16 gb ram

 

i've never encountered problem these specs before.

 

just recently, opened premiere , old project worked on not play footage @ all. hit play button, nothing. theres footage throughout timeline , won't play @ all.

 

now, happening again brand new project.  can drag , drop footage timeline , thumbnail in upper left hand corner pops when double click watch in source monitor, no video comes up.  i've watched raw clips , work fine.  try watch sequence , no video pops , won't play.

 

i've tried saving , reopening, i've tried starting on entirely, nothing has worked.  result in crash dragging , dropping footage timeline. can tell me whats going on premiere pro cs5.5? why has started doing recently? , there solution?

faq: why codecs , sequence presets missing installation of premiere pro?

 

the solution faq designed cs6.  if doesn't work cs5.5, you'll have deactivate pp, uninstall it, run adobe clean script utility, reboot, reinstall pp, reactivate things working again.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
