How do I insert a hyperlink

a while  ago asked software needed create hyperlink webpages in pdf software.  based on advice received, purchased adobe x standard , first opportunity i've had work it.

 

i'm trying insert hyperlinks own webpages in publisher document have converted pdf new software.  inserted hyperlink in publisher document , didn't work.  then, in addition leaving hyperlinks in publisher document, followed prompts adding link in pdf software, when create .pdf little hyperlink box appears, can't link anything.

 

i've tried searching support , forums , can't seem find i'm looking for...can tell me i'm doing wrong?

all depends on software. aa x may have update acrobat depending on version of ms office using. if 2010, need update.

 

there multiple ways create pdfs. if print adobe pdf printer, more basic method, no links or bookmarks preserved in pdf , have put them in tools in acrobat. if se ms options (save pdf or publish pdf), not sure created in pdf (that depend on ms plugin options , ms issue). other option pdf maker. work reliably have update acrobat (help>updates). pdf maker (the acrobat menu item in ms office) allow creation of links , such ms office document. there may issues if using 64-bit os , version of windows. there many compatibility issues consider , knowing versions of both ms office, os, , acrobat part of determination. aax, think updates solve of issues.

 

from within acrobat, can use link tool add links pdf.
