Thread: Acer Aspire 5532 overheating

had laptop year, when in windows never happens, seems happen in xubuntu 11.04. i've looked everywhere increasing fan speeds, because never kicks high gear, steady pace idle use. lm-sensors doesn't show fan speeds, temps of cpu.

far this thread goes, i've got latest kernel.

fan clear of dust, , runs @ average temperature until gpu needed

edit:
code:
$ sensors acpitz-virtual-0 adapter: virtual device temp1:       +85.0°c  (crit = +200.0°c)                    k8temp-pci-00c3 adapter: pci adapter core0 temp:  +76.0°c                                     core1 temp:  -49.0°c
shortly after shuts off overheating. when can cool off i'll give can that.

code:
$ sensors acpitz-virtual-0 adapter: virtual device temp1:       +34.0°c  (crit = +200.0°c)                    k8temp-pci-00c3 adapter: pci adapter core0 temp:  +26.0°c                                     core1 temp:  -49.0°c
that's on fresh boot after night
