Thread: CUPS server failed business, printer won't work

hi everyone,

going blasted statement result of 4 days of frustration.
there many people on here having problems getting printers work ubuntu.
in case version 10:04. have been reading , trying fixes 4 days. nothing works.
surely has got attention of people know doing , design these programs. sure don't know how fix this, along lot of other users. not being lazy or arrogant. nothing seems work. surely in hierarchy can put in patch fixes problem.the fact ubuntu won't print many people surely must priority in development of software. so, please 1 of program developers fix problem , send out patch. thank you. ken

is printer installed on desktop computer or installed on separate printer server ?
if on desktop, when use browser type : http://localhost:631
if on print server, when type :
http://<server_ip>:631 ?
cups configuration screen ?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
