Thread: defective MBR in XP Live CD stalled!!!

i burnt ubuntu cd,selected "try ubuntu"after started running,at point stopped,blank screen mouse worked.
similar situation occurred "bootmed.isocd"
may connected damaged /missing mbr,(i have boot boot floppy containing necessary files).is there distro or other earlier version of ubuntu allow me repair xp mbr ,,i can't use fdisk /mbr (no xp install/recovery cd)
of internet advice says use live cd since can't work ,what now??

have 2 separate related issues. 1 seems damaged mbr. , other cd not boot.

have bootable cd able repair hard drive. if system boot usb flash drive can also.

did burn cd @ slowest speed possible , verify downloaded & burned correctly. check lens on cd clean.

download supergrub smaller livecd boot or repair mbrs.

, windows cd can used repair mbr code in mbr same. pbr different between xp , vista/7.

if ubuntu boot, can install lilo's boot loader works windows boot loader.

restore basic windows boot loader - universe enabled
open synaptic , settings > repositories , tick box against universe repo in ubuntu software tab. close window , click on reload before installing testdisk synaptic.
sudo apt-get install lilo
sudo lilo -m /dev/sda mbr
may show error messages rest of lilo missing, ignore, want mbr bootloader.

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working error when opening projects in Adobe Media Encoder CS6

hi, upgraded adobe cloud cs6 , having problems adobe media encoder cs 6 (version 6.0.1.31 64-bit).   when try add adobe premiere projects in ame, gives me following error:   pproheadless.exe has stopped working   i tried rebooting, , still gives me same error.  project load, won't.   the premiere projects contain h.264 .mov file coming canon t2i.  added overlay logo bottom right of video created in adobe after effects, contains text, no effects, no motion, etc.  have .wav file recorded zoom h4n, not always.  edit in adobe audition remove noise feature.   i running on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.  i'm using i7 16gb ram , ati 6870 video card.   i have lut buddy plugin installed.   it give me error first time try load project, , connection dynamic link server fail.  afterwards, if try load project again, if restart ame, stays stuck in connecting dynamic link server...   any provide appreciated. what happens when drag , a...
